What: 2026 Toto Walk, Casual Gathering of Cairn Terriers & Their Owners, We will go for a walk together at Lake Sacajawea in Longview, WA. Last year we had 40 Cairn Terriers in attendance!

How to prepare my Cairn Terrier?

This is an exciting event for you Cairn to see so many of their cousins! Be prepared for a group photograph. We recommend brushing up on your leash manners, rewarding your cairn for attention, and be ready to use an enticing treat to keep them from barking. (40 Cairns barking excitedly pre-walk is quite the commotion!)

Will the Northwest Cairn Terrier Crew Be there?

Yes we will! We love saying Hi to everyone that comes, and we will have some of the dogs from our breeding program with us to meet as well. This is a great time to say  hello and see some of our dogs in person. 

What is the Park Like?

The walking paths are mostly gravel with some paved areas. There are benches along the route and there is parking available along the perimeter of the entire park. If you would like to sit to visit please plan to bring a lawn chair or snag an unoccupied park bench.
